Photobucket is currently doing maintenance. :x
So I can't post a picture of the bracket yet....

But just changing the outcome of the Summerville-Bluffton game in the 1st projection that I posted.
Having Bluffton beat Summerville.....

This one change would put Northwestern back into the D1 bracket.

That isn't the only one....
Here are some teams to keep your eye on as far as where Northwestern ends up.
Wando, Carolina Forest, Spring Valley, and West Ashley.

The playoff fate for these teams will likely determine whether Northwestern goes to the D1 or D2 bracket.

Bluffton is not beating Summerville....just sayin'. I also think Wando gets past James Island.

It's about time someone from Gaffney chimed in....

Simple answer: 4 or 5 seed

There are a lot of depends in this one......

If Gaffney wins....
and Boiling Springs beats Mauldin, that would give Gaffney another half point.
You could tie Sumter in Points and should beat them on opponent wins. (#4 seed)
If Boiling Springs loses to Mauldin. (#5 seed)

Unless.....
Sumter wins and Carolina Forest beats Conway.
That would give Sumter a half point more than Gaffney regardless of the BS/Mauldin outcome. (#5 seed for Gaffney)

So, four games will determine that.
NW v. Gaffney
BS v. Mauldin
Sumter v. Socastee
CF v. Conway

I Love the CONFIDENCE!

I picked Wando to beat James Island in the Bracket. I also picked your Green Wave over Bluffton.

A few things that happened to shift the brackets. (especially regarding Northwestern)
1. James Island beating Stratford gave Wando a great opportunity to make the playoffs. (I didn't see that one coming)
2. The combination of Summerville beating Colleton County, and Colleton County beating Bluffton.
This gave Summerville a good shot at making it in.
3. Spring Valley beating Ridge View means that we also need to keep an eye on Spring Valley now.

Yeah the James Island win over Stratford was a shocker for me too. As for the confidence I just have to believe we pick up the win which will extend our season by 2 more weeks.

I was asked how the bracket would change if TL Hanna beats Westside.
They are playing for the Region 1 Title this week.

The winner of that game will be anywhere from a #2 to #4 seed in the D2 bracket.
Westside would be #2 or #3
-It will depend on whether Northwestern wins against Gaffney and which bracket NW ends up in.

TL Hanna could be anywhere from #2 to #4
-Again, same info about Northwestern
-Lexington could get seeded higher than TL Hanna.
-It will depend on if Mauldin beats Boiling Springs (6 wins for Mauldin) +.5 pt for Hanna
-If BS beats Mauldin, it will come down to opponent wins.
This is very close. 3A playoff games involving TL Hanna opponent Wren could play a role.
Seneca likely wouldn't because they would be a TL Hanna mark-off.
I think Lexington holds the advantage if we get that deep into tie-breakers.

I like the bracket with Gaffney going to Ashley Ridge and potentially meeting the Goose Creek Gators! IJS... what do we have to do as Indian fans to get that??? Who's game do we have to fix like the Mafia?

If (and that is a BIG if) Stratford beats Goose Creek, can we squeak back into the playoffs or are we done?

Just some Random Thoughts:

The 2 extra games in Week 12 "could" change many things.

Blythewood @ Spring Valley in Week 12 "could" determine someones fate. D1 or D2?
It "could" also change the #1 seed in D1.

Colleton County vs South Aiken
in Week 12 could determine who makes the playoffs.....

Pay attention to Beaufort. (a 3A Colleton County opponent)
Beaufort (4-5) can give Colleton County an extra point by getting to 6 wins.
Beaufort plays Berkeley this week.
If Beaufort wins they will make the 3A playoffs....

The potential 3A playoff game of Midland Valley vs. Beaufort could then play a role.

The combination of
South Aiken vs. Colleton County
Midland Valley vs. Beaufort
That could be a shifter for the bottom part of the D2 bracket.

It could change who gets into the playoffs,
and because Colleton County is 44th in enrollment,
it likely will cause someone to shift from the D2 bracket back to the D1 bracket.
(If it bumped out Ridge View: that would be an exception, they are 49th in enrollment)

Just a note:
Last year River Bluff only made the playoffs because 2A opponent Cheraw got to 6 wins.
Had Cheraw won only 5 games, no River Bluff, No 1st round upset of Goose Creek. :geek:
