Byrnes at Sumter - Meet and greet - Golden Corral ~ 5:45 PM

Post by SF Band dad »

BBrown or someone else may have some other suggestions, but I've picked out a couple of chains that might work for us. I'm sure the Rebels will travel well on the day after Thanksgiving, and some refugees from Florence and Conway are planning to make the trip.

Update: Based on the flood of feedback received, I selected the Golden Corral - I'm planning on arriving there at 5:45. In normal traffic it's a 15 minute drive from there to the stadium.

== Golden Corral, 2385 WalMart Blvd.

Here's a map showing the location of the stadium, visitor parking and possible meet & greet locations.

You know me and work. Probably won't make it. I would also recommend The Shrimper at 438 Broad St.

I was leaning towards Golden Corral. A buffet easily accommodates separate checks and people arriving & leaving at different times. They have something for everyone's taste and they probably have a section I can reserve for all us HS football geeks.

I can tell them to put extra fried, baked and bbq Gamecock out on the bar for the visiting Rebels.

....and for the hometeam fans, roast duck and doughnuts.

I am not going to this game but it should be a great game to watch. Good luck to both teams. But if I was going to this Meet and greet I would agree with SF Band Dad about Golden Corral. I love eating at the Golden Corral. It has a ton of Buffet choices to choose from. We have had a few Football Meet and Greets at the Golden Corral in Beaufort. They have a place there where you can have a group meeting. It is a great place to have a Meet and Greet.
