Based on schools I know, I would put Dorman and Northwestern up at the top of the list.

Other than Marlboro County with Northwestern.....story for another time and place......I think very few people have had any issues with how these teams have presented themselves on the field and the fans have always been pretty classy.

My 2 cents worth...........

Thanks to our State Championship game in 1993.. i will NEVER root for Northwestern... NEVER!!!!

That explains all the Northwestern fans around the state.

I will take a 2-0 victory, including a blocked field goal right at the end of the game.....yeah....that works!

The only NW state championship game I have missed. I was not even able to listen to it on the radio. Everyone I know still talks about how it was an awesome game for those who appreciate the GAME. The defenses dominated. Quite the honor to have played in 2 straight championship games!!!!!!!

I'd personally have to say I like to pull for NW. Their fan base are class acts. Always a good time whether we're playing in RH or Nixon. Second pick would be the Indians because I've made some very good friends over that way and when they aren't playing Byrnes I root for those guys because I know they share the same passion for football as we do our Rebs. Even though we are HATED RIVALS there is alot of respect for both teams. Dorman would have to be right there at the 3rd spot I've made a couple of Cav buddies and either at Nixon or The U their fans have always been classy and stuff like that from all 3 of the above teams get my nod just for those reasons.

I would honestly say that I pull for just about all the upstate schools with the exception of Spartanburg I just can't do it I can't pull for the blue and gold its just not in my blood I'm sorry but I hate them with a passion

OK, even I couldn't keep a straight face with that comment. But I can only answer for me and I say that I can pull for most every team unless they are playing Byrnes....

I cannot pull for Dorman or Spartanburg, but that is mainly due to just a couple of folks that I know and for other personal reasons.

Spartanburg fell 1,000 % with the way they treated Doc Davis a few years ago. I really want to be pulling for Coach Miller to win another title, but it is so difficult because of that past.

A few Dorman folks I know have me so against Dorman, that if they beat us Friday night and go on to play Fort Dorchester or Goose Creek, I'd be in Columbia with the Lower State guys! I've already got my Goose Creek hat from a few years back when JC Gator and some of the guys came to Byrnes -vs- Gaffney.

I don't have many other "FAVORITE TEAMS" but because of folks I know from Gaffney, I pull for them unless they are playing Byrnes. I was honored to be at the Opening Game of the New Reservation thanks to a couple of folks.

And, thanks to BEAUFORTEAGLESFAN and Grammy, I can say I can pull for the Green & White! I was at the game when they played Clover for State sitting near Jimmy and his dad. Even made a trip to Beaufort for a big game one year {on a side note, attending a Beaufort game with Jimmy is a bucket list item! You will have a blast! It was even better then, with his dad with us! Thanks Rebel-Fan-74!!!! I really appreciate the kind words. That was too cool that you made the trip to Beautiful Beaufort to watch a game with us. My Dad and I really enjoyed talking to you. I wish that My Dad was still here to watch a game with me. I miss him so much!!!! Rebel-Fan-74....Thanks for sitting with us also when Beaufort played Clover in the championship game. I hope that we can watch another game together soon. Good luck to your Byrnes Rebels this week.

As for this thread.....I of course pull for The Byrnes Rebels to do well as I have become good friends with Ken(Rebel-Fan-74), I also pull for Thomas Heyward Academy and Colleton County to do well.

89 you know I can respect that cause we were brought up to hate each other lol way before Byrnes was relevant we were the last game of the year and it was all out hatred lol good luck tonight
