Greenwood QB Dre Yarbough

After missing the second half of the 2016 season, Dre picks up right where he left off. The Greenwood signal caller rushed for 251 yards 4Td's and passed for 123 yards 1TD in a 38-17 victory over cross town rival Emerald.

Yarbough is a tremendous player.

When Easley played GWD in the 1st round of the playoffs last year,
I noticed a lot of Juniors and Sophomores in the starting line up.
You guys return almost everything from last years team.
I think the main thing you have to replace is your LBs.

Currently I have GWD penciled in as my favorite in Region 2.

Any ideas what Hillcrest and Laurens have returning?

I'm not sure what Hillcrest returns but Laurens returns a lot. Especially up front. They will be tough. Greenwood hasn't won a region title since 2012 so there are no guarantees. The Laurens Raiders are the region champs until someone beats them. We'll see what happens.
