Irmo at Summerville - 1st Round

Summerville has a 4-4 record against Irmo in our series with them. We however have lost the last 3 in 2002, 2008 and 2009. Irmo was also that team that ended our 41 game winning streak back in 1980 . Man I remember that game so well...seems like just yesterday. It appears we will renew our rivalry with the Yellow Jackets next Friday night in Summerville. Summerville ended the season with a 7-2 record finishing 2nd in Region 7 behind Fort D while Irmo finished their season at 6-4 finishing 4th in Region 5. Both teams come into this game on losses in their season finale to the region champs Fort D and Dutch Fork.

Picked up the win but really did not look very good. Hopefully we will click a little more on offense and have a better game against Sumter.
