I will be in Charlotte this coming Saturday to watch my Silver foxes take on Mallard Creek.

I don’t know much about the Mavericks except their always full with athletes and well coached, any other insight or predictions are welcomed!

Mallard Creek returns their starting QB, but will have to replace their top 2 rushers and most of their receivers.

On paper I would say Mallard Creek due to their size and athleticism. But a lot of people are very high on Northwestern and their matchup with South Pointe will determine a lot. Boiling Springs is also a team to watch out for.

Dutch Fork by at least 17. I think they pull away in the second half.

For the record, I would be very surprised if DF loses during the regular season. But for the sake of argument, here are three potential ‘trap’ games for the Foxes.

Spring Valley - they will be stout on defense and always tough to prepare for that flexbone offense they run
Irmo - good QB and RB, rivalry games can tend to get emotional
Northwestern - can probably score with DF, will be DF’s toughest game of the season

Again, I doubt they lose during the regular season, just 3 games to keep your eye on. They will walk through their region.
