First and foremost, Hillcrest came to play.
For over three quarters, I was trying to figure out who they were playing because it sure didn't look like the Rebels I've watched this year. No drive, no excitement, no fire and really didn't look like they wanted to be there. With 9:26 to go in the game, it was Hillcrest 35-19.
Then, someone, somewhere flipped a switch and the HPO kicked in. Two drives, to 2 pt conversions and the Strike Force picks off a pass and makes it a pick six.
It's easy to see that had Hillcrest been able to keep their QB Healthy all season, they would have been a contender for the Region Title. The young 10th grader did an excellent job and the future looks bright for the Rams.
