Rain should be mostly moved out of the area by game time. May go check it out.

Blythewood lost to Spring Valley 10-3 so it’s a three way tie for second. Blythewood won the coin toss and will be 2nd with a home playoff game in the upstate. Irmo will be 3rd and sent to the Lower State. SV at large for Upstate.

Beating a team twice in one season is one of the toughest things to do in high school football. If it does wind up being Spring Valley we play in the first round that’s a tough first round draw regardless of what happened in the regular season. I think it was 2009 when we beat Spartanburg like third game of the season, 9-2 regular season, 10 game winning streak heading into a 2nd round home game against Spartanburg (I think they only won 3-4 games that year), thinking we were going back to state and have another chance to take down Marcus Lattimore and Byrnes. 3 hours later we were cleaning out our lockers.

Chapin and Spring Valley are probably going to have to play the make up game since they are both looking to earn an at large berth in the playoffs. Chapin really needs it after losing to Nation Ford tonight.
