DANIEL 50 SOUTH POINTE 49 DOUBLE OT

WOW...WOW AND WOW!!!!!
This was the 2nd best high school game I have ever watched.
SP scored the 1st to on a pick 6...
SP held Daniel and hit paydirt on a long run. 14-0...thinking the game was over...Daniel drove 45 yds to make it 14-7.
Now if some of ya don't know...Brent Venables son is the QB of Daniel and that boy can RUN...like FORREST!!!
SP scores on another long run...21-7
Venables runs 59 yds... 21-14...with 3:43 left in the 1st qtr!!!
Fast forward to OT...Bothbteams score on 1st play of OT...42-42...
SP scores on 2nd and goal from 18 yr line and kicks xp... 49-42...
Daniel QB scores again...
And they go for 2 with Venables punches it in for the upset.
Refs had to look for about 5 seconds before giving the signal that he got in!!! IT WAS REAL CLOSE!!!
SOUTH POINTE had 14 penalties
DANIEL had 4
Can't tell you all little other things that happened during this game or it will turn into a DeCAV POST!!!

Seems ref's these days have it in for some teams....Gaffney had 225 yards total yards last night and 155 yards in penalties....some were deserved....some were because the hit just looked to hard...
