Coach Bob Boswell

Heard through social media that Coach Bob Boswell passed away today. Coach Boswell was an assistant at NC State and was very successful at A L Brown in Kannapolis, NC. I believe he was the AD for Cherokee County schools and then returned to coaching at York High for a few years. He had been battling cancer.

Very good article. Bob Boswell was an impressive man. He did a great job at High Point Andrews where he was the very first coach in 1968. More impressive than the coaching job may have been his community work during the integration period. Class act.
