SOUTH AIKEN at GREENWOOD FRIDAY NIGHT
Re: SOUTH AIKEN at GREENWOOD FRIDAY NIGHT
For the 2 reps that we got to see the starters in the jamboree, they were fast, strong, and physical. They moved the ball with relative ease against the Greenville defense and scored quickly. The defense was the same intensity. Greenwood folks are just accustomed to winning. We don't care if it's a real game or a jamboree. We expect to win. Starters against starters Greenwood was clearly much faster and stronger than Greenville. The Sanders kid ain't no joke. We'll just have to sit back and watch what happens. I'm just excited that football is back. I'm not allowing my blood pressure to get up this season.

Who's the qb for Greenwood this year? So far I've seen three different ones. Who's the starter?eagle93 wrote:For the 2 reps that we got to see the starters in the jamboree, they were fast, strong, and physical. The only significant win Dan Pippin has had in 5 years at Greenwood was against Hanna a few years ago in the playoffs. Other than that we've underachieved and had very bad losses to lesser talented schools that has been an embarrassment to the program. Time for Pippin to put up or get gone after this year. I support my Eagles and all the coaches including Pippin. I don't like Pippin at all but I support him because he's the head ball coach. But dude, Pippin really needs to start winning some big games. South Aiken ain't one of um. Beat the Gaffneys and Dormans of the world then I'll be impressed. But before that beat Westside, Hanna, and Easley for goodness sake.eagle93 wrote:For the 2 reps that we got to see the starters in the jamboree, they were fast, strong, and physical. Dylan Rappley is the QB from what I hear. Don't know how true that is.northside knight wrote:Who's the qb for Greenwood this year? So far I've seen three different ones. Very good assessment. I haven't seen them play yet so I'll hold my judgment until then. I'll keep the hospitals on notice for your blood pressure eagle93eagle93 wrote:For the 2 reps that we got to see the starters in the jamboree, they were fast, strong, and physical. Hmmm, well.... From what I've seen Greenwood has a much better team this year. Mr. Pippin needs to take advantage of that and lead this team to many victories. He's had a significant amount of time. Now it's time to cash in. I believe he can do it but he's got to coach to win and just go for it. The kids need to stay focused and the coaches need to LEAD BY EXAMPLE. Friday is the first step. Let's get it

I totally agree.

Rappley started in the jamboree, but Spearman saw some time at QB also. Both kids looked pretty good, but Rappley looked like the guy.northside knight wrote:Who's the qb for Greenwood this year? I don't think you really dislike him. You just want to win. We all do because it's what we've been accustomed to. That's understandable.EmeraldCityEagle98 wrote:The only significant win Dan Pippin has had in 5 years at Greenwood was against Hanna a few years ago in the playoffs.
