Hmmm
Re: Greenwood at Gaffney
Judging from our last 2 scrimmage outings ...I would say yes...hate to say it but I believe my Indians are over rated at this point...not from a talent standpoint but the obvious...I'll leave it at that...with u guys having a game under your belt should be a good one...

STILL SPEAKING THE TRUTH
Re: Greenwood at Gaffney
Well.........I would like to say greenwood will be ready to roll but remembering last year's abomination in this game having negative yards offensively in front of a home crowd... I'd hope Pippin would take this game personally and want to return the favor.

So far Dan Pippin has shown he is unable to win these type of games. He gets yet another chance to prove himself come Friday night. The offense needs to grow up quickly if we're going to win this game.Greenwood97 wrote:Is Greenwood ready for #2 Gaffney?
Re: Greenwood at Gaffney
Looking for an offense to grow up quickly against that defense Gaffney has is not exactly a desired place to be. Both fan bases never seem to be happy with some of the coaching currently at either place. So that is a wash. But Gaffney has more talent and that should prevail and I really don't see Greenwood being able to have much consistency on offense.

We just need to win. Don't care how we do it. Offense Defense special teams whatever.... Just win.

We'll have to keep the score down to win this one. If Gaffney scores 21 or more we can forget about it. Unless the greenwood offense got drastically better in a week. 120 yards of offense won't get it done against this team. And certainly not negative yardage like last year

Re: Greenwood at Gaffney
Guys I'm sorry but this is just my personal opinion and doesn't represent the opinions of any other greenwood fans. I don't think Dan Pippin gives 2 cents about this game. It's non region and if which is a big if.... There's a chance we could see gaffney again if we make the playoffs. He only seems to care about region games and playoff games. Therefore I feel like he's going to call super vanilla plays. I think he'll try and compete but he won't really try to win now because of the above reasons. If we don't play to win and really try to win we're going to get drilled at gaffney. I really hope that I'm proven wrong.
