Just looking at both teams Friday and Saturday night performances - South Pointe has a clear advantage! However, this is a rivalry game and Sumter isn't going to get the same attention as South Pointe will from the Bearcats! These kids go to the same Church, barber shop, went to the same middle school, etc. Maybe even cousins and such! We will get a tough game from them.

I saw a RH team that struggled passing the football and relied on pounding the rock! I look for the SP line to defend the run well Friday though. Which won't be good for RH.
Stallions had opportunities and missed some throws I think with reps will be completions later in the season!

Should be a good one. I think Stallions take this one and do so in somewhat dominating fashion!

Newcatntown - I will never include Legion, LOL! Never! Or at least unless something dramatic happens around Rock Hill. The district brought York Prep and Legion Academy on itself with the transfer rule.

Sumter had 8 turnovers and still won by a TD to put it another way! Have you ever even heard of that?

I can't wait to play Berkley again Slick! Perhaps I will get to see you go through the whole gambit of emotions: early on having that hope. Then later dispair! LOL!

No. Like I said in the 1st post. It's a rivalry game and they will play well above their ability! The team I saw Friday is well behind where their team was last year at the same time. I think for the Stallions we are at a good place and will have last years loss to the Bearcats on the mind! Motivation and getting the kids attention this week won't be a problem in other words!
When SP has been reined in and focused - we have traditionally been really good! And have come out and played lights out. We will see if something changes b/c of the HC changing; but I expect to see them come out ready/focused.

Full disclosure though Slick: You all beat us in 2007 when the entire school only had I believe 37 seniors only 1 or 2 were back ups on the football team! You have not beaten a fully loaded SP yet!
