Nation Ford has beaten Conway and Spartanburg! I understand both of those squads may be struggling a bit. But, they are both traditional rich schools with proud football lineage.
I think the Stallions will have their hands full with the Falcons! Particularly if they show up still trying to find themselves still.

It will take perfect execution and a will to beat the Falcons. They can do it; but can Coach H get the team in the right place mentally to focus in on the little things it's going to take?

Conway isn’t Conway right now. We have major problems! We finally hired an AD so hopefully changes will come this year. We can barely get a first down and score at the moment. Sad sad times

Talent isn’t an issue. Never has been. Coaching and now numbers are down.

South Pointe needs to watch out for Nation Ford, Nafo has a new addition to their Coaching Staff, A BLAST FROM THE PAST, a former Head Football Coach who knows all the tricks of the the game, and he knows how to read all your teams weaknesses and attack you there. If South Pointe can get pass Nafo with a Win, SP will probably go undefeated until the playoffs because their region is down and weak this season.

South Pointe needs to watch out for Nation Ford, Nafo has a new addition to their Coaching Staff, A BLAST FROM THE PAST, a former Head Football Coach who knows all the tricks of the the game, and he knows how to read all your teams weaknesses and attack you there. If South Pointe can get pass Nafo with a Win, SP will probably go undefeated until the playoffs because their region is down and weak this season.

That learning curve, that leap teams make from game two to game three had better happen. If not, you're right. Could be the 1st win for the falcons over SP.

I understand a couple post saying Conway isn't Conway and Spartanburg isn't Spartanburg. But, those kids don't know that. The talent both schools can present is still impressive. Nation Ford will hopefully have the full attention of the staff. We have to break tendencies and stop tipping our plays! Become a little less predictable on offense!

South Pointe isn't what it has been in the past. Nation Ford is much better than it has been in the past. This one will be close. It will be decided in the 4th quarter. I got the Stallions in a very competitive game.

Nafo has Mahaffey, the best RB in the area most think. Is that enough to beat the Stallions? Doubtful. As good as he is, SP can put all their resources toward stopping him

Nafo has to use other threats in this game, I'm just not sure they can throw (have not seen them)

Stallions are a little down (on offense) but are super athletic on defense. They can make a big play at any time on D.

Stallions O, needs some work and that's putting it mildly but it is what it is

Look for Nafo to blitz early and often

Should be a good battle with special teams playing a huge part in this game. I'll take SP in a squeaker

I’m not taking anything away from Nations Ford. They deserve credit obviously. I don’t know about the Spartanburg situation but Conway went through a forced coaching change as most know. We are just trying to let it play out and hopefully it will be over this year. Numbers are way down with only 87 kids on varsity and JV this year combined. The offense has trouble just making a first down. It’s really a sad situation we are enduring right now. So when I say Conway isn’t Conway right now, it’s not a knock on other schools. It’s a knock on our program right now. Fingers crossed we can stop the bleeding and get back on track. Talent and support is never an issue here so a good staff can turn it around quick.

One of our problems was we had an interim retired AD that didn’t really didn’t care what happened. We did hire an AD this summer who is a former Conway athlete that said we are not going to tolerate just making the playoffs. He was the AD at Green Sea Floyd’s that hired Donnie Keiffer from NC that just won them their first state championship in football. He said we are going to hoist the state championship trophy soon. I’m looking forward to it!
