Would rather see them play TL Hanna or Sumter instead of a team from Florida that’s really not a “powerhouse”.

In this state they would be a legit top 7 or 8 team maybe better.florida has some monster teams in quite a few sports.(kids played baseball and softball there)they are atleast 3 maybe 4 times the population thats a big talent base to draw from.img academy and st Thomas aquinas would beat any team in this state no problem.while knotts is a great coach. He ducked byrnes quite a few years at independence. Tom aint no fool .he knew and byrnes knew.ask a few byrnes guys they will tell you the same.if we play another team id prefer it to be a spread offense. We have option experience. Its about the end game.

Viera would beat alot of teams here. One team I would love to see us play would be Edna Karr out of new Orleans.

The difference in teams like STA and IMG from DF is that they are allowed to recruit. IMG can get any recruit in the country. If DF and TK was allowed to recruit players from around this state he would most definitely win state every single year no question. DF is more comparable to teams like Lakeland, Miami Central, Miami Northwestern, and Carol City. Those are public schools that play with tea lent in their area like DF.

North western will roll through aswell.central probably aswell both in top 5(behind img and st thomas) in fla. They have 3 to 4 times the athletes to chose from.as for "recruiting "if they want to play for a school in this state it can and is being done all over the state has been for decades .as long as it passes the eye test.i dont have a problem with it.go play where you want.
We have good athletes and play good ball in this state.other states have quite a few better teams .there overall talent level is simply better by volume.
The Byrnes juggernaut that was simply one of the best coached teams in this state.from top to bottom.no one wanted a piece of them period.they played some of those programs like moeller ect and won.byrnes 2007 was one of the best teams i have seen.outside of booker t washington miami .that is the best team i have ever seen.
