Ok i actually pull and have pulled for byrnes in the past.byrnes1 will attest to this.if you were in the Bentley, miller years yeah i get it.byrnes is formidable opponent for sure.but i heard dorman fans say we dont know how to play football ect when they beat west ashley in 15.(the two best teams in the state that year was goose creek and fort period).then get demolished at willy b.the same way byrnes demolished summerville with aj green.
Im not saying the rest down here are playing good ball.
I damn sure know fort is.i dont care who's on the other side of the ball.ive watched hs football for decades.are we booker t Washington of miami 2007(the best highschool team i have ever seen including byrnesteams)no.but this is one of the best defensive units i have seen.the offense isnt far behind. Defense goes a long ways .

Fort D defense is very good and very deep! I think the old saying is that defense wins championships!!

While the statistics with this poll put RH at 9 and Berkeley at 10 in 5 A. RH and Berkeley may make it past week 1 of the playoffs, BUT will not be a player in the road to Columbia for a state title.......RH will self-destruct ( still too many mistakes) and Berkeley is way too young,,,,,,

Ok Massey is another one of those poll things kind of like Hillary and friends relied on! Dutch Fork vs Fort will be the state championship game and the foxes have to come to the Fort!

Actually Dutch Fork At Fort D would be the Lower State Championship. The Region VIII #1 seed will have home field advantage to Columbia so you could have an undefeated Dutch Fork playing at undefeated Fort D with the winner headed to Columbia.
