Greenwood AD, football coach Dan Pippin to leave after 2019

this is just my opinion as a high school football fan
since i finished in 1964.if GREENWOOD had several
of the athletes that play for ABBEVILLE they would
probably be right in the mix for a championship this
year.

Greg Porter is a better candidate for the job. He can reach to the kids walking the halls and playing other sports who lost interest in playing football.

Greenwood probably needs to hire 1 HC/teacher and 1 AD instead or double duties. Im sure there are alot of candidates that can handle both jobs.....but can he concentrate and excel at FOOTBALL with AD job as well?

Maybe one of you football gurus know how many state titles have been won....lets say for the past 20 years at any level 1A-5A by a Head coach/AD.
