BEAUFORT AT COLLETON COUNTY POLL 11/1/19

Beaufort is coming in to this game with a record of 3-5 Overall and 2-0 in Region 7 4A. The Eagles are avg. 23 points a game and giving up 35 points a game. Beaufort is coming off a Big Region 7 4A win over Hilton Head 38-21. The Eagles have a record of 1-4 in away games so far this season.

Colleton County is coming in to this game with a record of 3-5 Overall and 1-1 in Region 7 4A. The Cougars are avg. 20 points a game and giving up 31 points a game. Colleton County is coming off a Big Region 7 4A win over Bluffton 34-21. The Cougars have a record of 0-3 at home so far this season.

This is a BIG BIG BIG Region 7 4A game. If Beaufort wins then the Eagles are Region Champs. If Colleton County wins then the Cougars have a chance of winning the Region if Bluffton upsets Hilton Head. So this game is HUGE!!!!

Beaufort has won the last 3 meetings between the teams. The Eagles beat Colleton County last year 34-13. Doodles has Beaufort favored by 16 points, Calpreps has Beaufort beating Colleton County 28-22 and Massey has Beaufort winning 34-20. What do y'all think about this game? I will give my thoughts and predictions later on in the week. .

I am really looking forward to this game. I only live about 3 miles from Colleton County's Stadium. I have a ton of friends and co-workers who pull for The Cougars. Hopefully it will be a good game with no injuries and My Beaufort Eagles will win.

Kickoff for this game will be this Friday Night November 1st at 7:30PM in Cougar Stadium in Walterboro. I will say this please Beaufort run the ball a lot in this game. The Cougars have a good defense but I think My Eagles will have success running the ball against them. But we do need to mix in the pass some also. I am already excited about this game. Did I say it is a HUGE GAME????

Let's hear y'alls thoughts. In common opponents this season Colleton County lost to May River 31-6, Beaufort beat May River 27-21. Colleton County lost to Hilton Head 28-7, Beaufort beat Hilton Head 38-21, Colleton County beat Bluffton 34-21 and Beaufort beat Bluffton 35-24.

I think this will be a better game then everyone thinks, if Beaufort can run the ball they will win, they have two good backs and a pretty good running quarterback and Colleton County I think has one of the best athlete in the state in Trakell Murray he had 280 yards rushing on Bluffton last week, so this game should be real interesting. I think Colleton upset them at home 24-21

Thanks so much on your thoughts on this game tiger13. I really appreciate it. I agree that Trakell Murray is a great athlete. I have watched Colleton County in person this season seeing them play in 1 game and also watching highlights of them. The Cougars also have a pretty good QB in Edwardian Stansell. Murray is a really good player. Beaufort's defense will have their hands full with them.

But saying that Beaufort's Defense is playing better and we have one of the best DL'S in the State in Freshman Eamon Smalls. Smalls is about 6'4 and 300 lbs. He is already being looked at by Major Colleges. So I look for Eamon Smalls to have a big game against the Cougars. I am so ready for this game!!!!

Our Eagles have looked really good these last 3 weeks Penguin. Hopefully they will beat Colleton County tomorrow and open up the playoffs at home.

This BIG REGION 7 4A GAME is tomorrow night. I can't wait!!!! Both teams will be fired up for this game because if Beaufort wins then the Eagles are Region Champs but if Colleton County wins then they will win the region if Bluffton is able to beat Hilton Head. So I look for a hard fought game.

In order for Beaufort to win this game The Eagles Offense must be able to run the football. Beaufort QB Daniel Phares has looked really good running Beaufort's new option offense. Beaufort RB'S James Dagin and Amariee Morris has looked good also running the football. The Eagles OL must have a great game blocking and opening up holes for Phares,Dagin and Morris to run thru. Phares must also mix in the pass some to open up Beaufort's running game. Phares looked good throwing the football last week against Hilton Head.

Beaufort's defense will have their hands full with Colleton County RB/WR/ATHLETE Trakell Murray and Cougar QB Edwardian Stansell. Murray had 40 carries for 270 yards rushing last week against Bluffton. So Beaufort's defense will have to key on Murray this week. The Eagles will also have to put pressure and blitz Cougars QB Stansell. Stansell can beat you with the long ball but I notice if you put some pressure on him he tends to get wild and either throw an interception or overthrow the receiver.

If Beaufort can hold off on the stupid penalties and not turn the ball over I think Beaufort will win this game pretty easily. Beaufort's defense has been playing the run pretty good these last few games.

The Weather is suppose to be cooler for this game. It is Colleton County's Senior Night. So I hope to see a HUGE CROWD on both sides.

Ok as for my prediction on this game..... I will say....
