Dorman 38 Riverside 0
I wasn’t there but I am guessing the Cavs went deep into their bench for this one and played some young guys and some guys that don’t get to play much. It was 24-0 after the first quarter and 31-0 soon afterward. 31-0 was also the halftime score. The Cavs only scored once in the second half. I am honestly very proud of my school for the class and sportsmanship they showed to a severely undermanned team. And our guys should be well rested for the playoffs! Excellent job CAVS!!

Nice touch by Gutshall. Riverside is in a tough spot and just isnt a competitive football team. I didnt know if he could keep it under 60 even if he played the JV backups. Class act for him letting Riverside out of the game without embarrassing them.

Re: Dorman 38 Riverside 0
Heard the second half was all JV players and others playing out a running clock
Re: Dorman 38 Riverside 0
Pretty sure at least the backups, and maybe some JVs were in the field before that. Think Dorman only scored once in 2nd qtr. That would have been impossible with just about any experienced talent on the field. But as I said above, kudos to Gutshall. He is obviously a great coach, but probably deserves more respect for how he handled last night's game than any victory he has had this year.
