Chapman really viewed as a boring talking point?
Re: Chapman really viewed as a boring talking point?
I think Chapman will win basically because I dont see them being able to cover all of their weapons in the passing game. But Camden is the perfect type of team that could give them trouble. Chapman hasn't seen a running game like Camden has. Huge offensive line with a ton of speed running behind it. If Camden can stay close, slow the game down, that would frustrate Chapman. But somebody has to show me they can actually slow them down. And dont think anyone on the 3A level can do it. Maybe not the 4A level.

Camden slowed them down last year. Was winning 21-14 in the third quarter. That’s fact not opinion

And as I stated, Camden has the ability to do that with the way they play. Cant beat Chapman trying to play 7 on 7 with them. Camden obviously wont. But everything is going to have to work for Camden as Chapman will be hard to slow down.

This is by far the best defense Mark Hodge has had since being at Chapman. The offense is outstanding but I believe the D can make a difference if it comes down to it.Past years the defense always gave up tons of points, this year they're fast and very physical.Should be a good game Friday night.

I was surprised at how well they stop the run. In the past when Newberry played them, they couldn't stop the run at all. I think the 3 games they played each other in 2016-2017, Abrams for Newberry had over 200 yards rushing in each game. That isn't the case anymore. You always knew you would have to score to beat them, but now they have a defense that can keep you from doing that.Inman2300 wrote:This is by far the best defense Mark Hodge has had since being at Chapman. Those 2 games in 2016 were knock em out drag downs.Abrams was a Mack truck, one of the better backs I've seen in high school personally.
