This region could be the end of Emerald as a high school. If they completely fall off in athletics, it gives the town more incentive to merge Greenwood and Emerald into one high school.

The whole concept of a junior high becomes much more believable if Emerald continues to be completely hopeless in athletics.
I don't think the part of the community that wanted Emerald to be high school will let that happen. Seems like a long shot to me.

Emerald needs to hire the right coach and put together a better coaching staff.

Not going to happen when at least 75% of McMahon's staff will be hanging around.

Everything is buttoned-up over at the E.

Should know the new HC here pretty soon.

Yes, they already have finalists lined up. (To my knowledge, they've already made the decision who the next HC will be...we just have to wait on the approval)

Only thing I could find is the next district board meeting on Jan 27th. Of course the last time this was updated was in December so there's that.

I can't believe there are people who REALLY believe that the school board would make radical changes to the school to help win ball games. If there is any discussion about radically changing Emerald, it is not about athletics, at least, I hope not.
