I don't think the part of the community that wanted Emerald to be high school will let that happen. Seems like a long shot to me.No Fly Zone wrote:This region could be the end of Emerald as a high school. Just need the right coach. Wanting to play weaker competition isn't the answer. If they want the trophy they have to beat the best teams.
The whole concept of a junior high becomes much more believable if Emerald continues to be completely hopeless in athletics.

Emerald needs to hire the right coach and put together a better coaching staff.

Not going to happen when at least 75% of McMahon's staff will be hanging around.StateChampsGHS wrote:Emerald needs to hire the right coach and put together a better coaching staff.

Yes, they already have finalists lined up. (To my knowledge, they've already made the decision who the next HC will be...we just have to wait on the approval)viking4life wrote:Have they started interviewing yet?

Only thing I could find is the next district board meeting on Jan 27th. Of course the last time this was updated was in December so there's that.SF Band dad wrote:When is the next school board meeting?StateChampsGHS wrote:Do you know what day the District announcing the new head coach? No Fly Zone wrote:Yes, they already have finalists lined up. I can't believe there are people who REALLY believe that the school board would make radical changes to the school to help win ball games. If there is any discussion about radically changing Emerald, it is not about athletics, at least, I hope not.eagle93 wrote:I don't think the part of the community that wanted Emerald to be high school will let that happen.
