Any word on when the appeals will be heard and the rulings will be made public

from what I have heard:
Rock Hill & Northwestern are appealing to be with the rest of the York County Teams
Ridge View is appealing in order to stay in 4A
Burke is appealing

Rock Hill and Northwestern did not appeal.
Ridge View may have, but can’t find a school to move to 5A so,they can drop down.
According to my sources that is.

When the Beaufort County School Board offered their reasoning for building a High School in the extreme northern part of Beaufort County, the message was that it was to relieve overcrowding at Possum Hill High School. Possum Hill High School was built as a 1500 seat Campus. I am not going to even attempt to try and explain here, the political pacification that was really behind this project. As a taxpaying citizen of this County, I am appalled by the lack of publicity that this folly is receiving, given the ever increasing tax rates in this County, the higher than ever poverty rates here, and all of the money and power from this County being exerted on the State Legislature to reverse the law excluding primary residents from having to pay for School operating budgets through an extra 2% tax rate and special fees on real property.

This project was nothing but a folly from the word go. Local powerbrokers in this County will not rest until the poorest segment of the population are saddled with footing the bill for those who are sick with greed. Only a blip on the map of the entire country, but oh, so indicative of the times in which we live.

Irmo - Move from 4A-5 to 4A-4 due to travel. -- Denied, appeal not determined.

Cheraw - Wants Legion Collegiate to move from Region 3-2A to Region 2-2A
Christ Church - Move from 1-2A to 1-A

Thursday
Burke - Move from Region 6-2A to Region 7-A
Denmark-Olar - Move from Region 3-A to Region 6-A (football only)

So what would be the purpose of the HSL denying these appeal request and how likely is the executive committee to uphold the denial or will they over turn it
