That's funny considering he was at Timberland for 18-19 years. That seems long term compared to some coaches who job jump every so many years.

To be fair, that's a lot of coaches. Many of these guys put in for almost every job every year. As an old admin friend of mine said a long time ago "you never pass up an interview"

I DON'T THINK ITS A PROMOTION, HE WAS ONLY ONE OF TWO COACHES LEFT IN BERKELEY COUNTY THAT WERE BOTH HEAD COACHES AND ATHLETIC DIRECTORS, AT HANAHAN, HE WONT BE BOTH, THE ONLY MOTIVATION I CAN SEE IS A CHANGE OF BEING IN THE DESTITUTE COUNTRY TO THE CITY WITH STREET LIGHTS AND PUBLIC WATER. BOTH SCHOOLS ARE LAND LOCKED, CANT EXPAND, TIMBERLAND HAS SUFFERED A BIG LOSS OF PLAYERS DUE TO OPENING THE SCHOOL ON DANIEL ISLAND, THE OTHER COACH THAT GETS BOTH SALARIES IS THE CROSS COACH.

It's definitely true there are a lot of coaches that apply all over the state every year.Maybe he wants a different challenge at a different venue kind of like a lot of other coaches in this state.
