SCHSL Realignment Appeals

Curious to how many schools are involved in the count inconsistency Ridgeview is referring to in their appeal. It seems cut and dry you count all 9th-11th graders regardless of their situation. 4th year 11th graders, early graduates etc... Count them. If not this could get messy and numbers can be seriously manipulated.

Cheraw’s appeal makes no sense to me if you are requesting one of the Rock Hill teams change regions why not both?

Irmo - Move from 4A-5 to 4A-4 due to travel. -- Denied, appeal not determined.

Cheraw - Wants Legion Collegiate to move from Region 3-2A to Region 2-2A

Burke - Move from Region 6-2A to Region 7-A
Denmark-Olar - Move from Region 3-A to Region 6-A (football only)

The same folks who made the realignment hear the appeals, talk about a fox guarding the hen house....

It's almost as funny as what's going on in Washington! Almost...

almost certain that on further appeal, some will get granted. People with friends on the executive committee will see things swing in their favor. This is usually the case with the HSL

If they want a great example of count inconsistency's- all they need to do is AUDIT the numbers at a certain upstate high school in Anderson SC that dropped to AAAA. They were slick but so easy to see what they did to "lose" students. It's crazy that the folks in Anderson continue to allow the powers from the top down to openly CHEAT!

Mr. Football they are not the only school to doctor numbers to stay where they want to be!! There is a school in the Pee Dee that is infamous for this!!
