I notice you like to throw that card out a lot. So sad- it shouldnt matter what color I am or a coach is- they should hire the best. As a matter of fact- is the new Laurens coach a man of color? I questioned why him and not one of the MANY qualified applicants? Of course I was not interviewing so he may be the best fit. I just know may that interviewed and was unaware of this guys greatness. I think you should worry less about alternative motives and focus on what is going on at OUR school. Why we have so many that rather walk the halls and do "other" things outside school than play ball? There is a great place to lend a hand and focus.

I used to term "BOY" to point out that you should not direct such statements without knowing what you are talking about. Not sure where I ever bad mouthed other coaches in a way that you have accused, but I digress and head back into Hodges to relax.

Lol. No hard feelings sir. I will concede and keep the peace. If we're referring to the right Mooney, yes he is a man of ethnic background. Hodges? Awesome. I grew up part of my childhood there. Very quaint and close knit. My father lives there.

What's your source Mooney is getting the job? On Laurens countys website it list three coaches being considered and Mooney isn't one of them.

The board meeting list nothing about a head coach. The board meeting is for the new superindent

Hornet, you can't trust the information from that website. I would bet just about anything that those 3 names are not accurate. I have heard the on staff guy is a finalist but have not heard anything about the other two.
