Tom Butler to join Greenwood High as defensive coordinator

This is a good hire. They are bringing in coaches who actually played for Greenwood and helped build the Greenwood tradition. Tom is a good coach. He played for Dula. I really like what they are doing. These guys know how we run things around here.

Heard through the grapevine that one of Emerald's better former coaches is considering coming back to SC to work under Liner.

He'd be on the offensive side of the ball though, an assistant, not coordinator.

I imagine the Great Falls job is drawing a lot of interest from assistants in York, Chester, Fairfield, Kershaw and Richland counties. Great place to finish or start a head coaching career.
