Yeah but hes also the A D .they would have to get rid of thier AD also .
Not sure they have gotten rid of enough oldschool to step up .
18 more years he can draw sc reitirement partial at 62 assuming hes on the old retirement plan.

Knotts makes over $115,000 at Dutch Fork and has at least two or more Asst AD under him there. He is looking to finish his career coaching his son who I think is somewhere around the 6th or 7th grade. After that all bets are off on what he will do. He turned down a extremely lucrative opportunity to coach a powerhouse in Georgia over money so if the money is not right I doubt he will move, plus look at the facilities he has at Dutch Fork compared to any school in this area. No comparison, it would be a drop back for him unless he just really wanted a extreme challenge at this point. Oceanside with the future draw would be a good fit for him in my opinion.

Chad Grier isn't giving that Oceanside job up unless Beckham or Wando back up the Brinks truck for him

I tend to agree with you, but they are the only school that makes sense and would have the $$$$ to make a reasonable offer. He isn’t leaving the Fork for what Charleston County has to offer!!
