Rehashing my old post since the thread got wiped.

I would expect some sort of combination of the following to be implemented this season (possibly not all, but at least a few):
-Mandatory temperature checks, weekly testing (schools need to be given resources to do this)
-No 7 on 7's, possibly no scrimmages or jamborees
-Younger referees
-Limited fan capacity
-Required mask wearing by fans
-Signing of waivers
Waivers for who???
Athletes.. so the school is not held liable if they get the virus.

Abbeville announced today they will require students to sign notarized consent forms before being able to play a sport this fall.
people under 18 years old cannot sign away anything............they are underage minors.......their parents maybe, but, i don't think it will matter in court..........

FORM TO PLAY.jpgFORM TO PLAY.jpg
Here is the problem with this form...............it protects (it actually doesn't) the district where the student attends school but not the opponent's district..............what if the player gets the virus from an opposing player????...........the student can sue THAT school district..........these forms are just to pacify people in this moment...........this form will not ensure that we play ball, that i can assure you.........

If the SCHSL makes the final decision, they will be the one liable for the health and welfare of student athletes. That should not and will not happen.
