I believe herd immunity is the answer. As it is with all viruses. Staying on lock down creates other problems also. At the end of the day, I, not the government, am responsible for me and mine. If you're scared, stay home. If not, go out. If the masks worked so great, why not give them to the prisoners instead of releasing them? I'm a combat veteran, i've faced much worse things than a virus. I've heard people called an expert on this. I have yet to hear even one that I consider to be an expert! I've also seen how the numbers on this are definitely not right either. People that were already dying; their deaths being attributed to this. Go ahead, live in fear. I have all 5 things i've seen that said I was high risk for this. I haven't worn a mask. I will not wear a mask. I keep my hands clean. I don't be up in people's face at any time. I haven't had but 1 cold in the last 12 years. I always do common sense things to protect myself. So, the know it also even in this conversation, blast away. However, I bet y'all have had more viruses than I have!

Fauci is an expert............he has been spot on from day 1...........herd immunity means bodies piled high and deep.............

If Trump supporters hate Fauci so much and liberals love him so much why hasn't the POTUS fired him? Isn't that what he does with people who disagree with him?

The Mayo Clinic says that in order to achieve herd immunity, 70% of the population must have had the virus, AND recovered from it. We currently have a 6.9% mortality rate. 70% of the American population is roughly 200 million people. 6.9% of that is right around 14 million deaths. Those are the facts. Those are the numbers being so cavalierly (pun intended) bantered about by those with little to no understanding of infectious diseases and mathematics. Is anyone willing to see 14 million people die rather than make the sacrifice to shelter in place, wear a mask, and maintain safe distancing? Some here say that is the preferred outcome. I am left to wonder exactly how many of their families that they are willing to bury to achieve this herd immunity. SMH

I have heard what fauci has said .i have read what stanford medical the cdc and john hopkins .
They have varying degrees of opinion .as do Swedish and german medicine .
I do not believe there to be one right answer.
Or one right way.
We need ti rely on herd immunity until a vaccine is developed.
I myself will wait months before i tqke a rushed vaccine.
It could cause other problems.
So i am a proponent for heard immunity .
Its going to hurt but its natures way .
Let it run its course.
