The Governor for the first time today stated that unless the numbers come down that he would not allow High School or College Football this fall. He actually was talking that if you were caught having large gatherings and someone died there might would be serious implications including the courts and juries! Your thoughts??

Re: NO FOOTBALL
Over a 500k tests a day vs 135k a day 2 months ago .actually did 600plus some days.the counts are going to go up.
Hospitalized patients are the number to watch not positive cases.
Estimated that up to 10 x that actually have the virus.
Heard immunity is coming quickly.we meed 180 million or so positives to achieve this.
Not a big deal the media hyperbole will continue until a better story arrives .we saw that the protests knocked covid 19 off the front story.

Re: NO FOOTBALL
Not worried about football aint worried about covid either.
1 in 19 million death rate give or take 1 in 3 to 4 k infection rate.
Its a bad virus but it aint the plague wash hands wear a mask no big deal.l8fe goes on for most.
I realize you have sime health issues that make it deadly for you on top of your age range. But for most its not a deadly disease /virus that we need to be caught up in the hyperbowl .
Take caution be aware other than that situation normal.

The count of confirmed daily infections in SC has spiked, there is no question about that. However....
The average age of those testing positive is now lower. Many are asymptomatic and were only tested due to contact tracing or because they were going to the hospital for some other reason. Hospital bed, ICU, and ventilator utilization have all gone flat again, the daily death rate has gone flat again. All those measures are projected to go back into decline next week.
Those of us with risk factors need to continue taking precautions but there's no reason to lock-down the other 80% of our population.
American Academy of Pediatrics recommends sending kids back to school
