Just remember that this country was founded by Patriots, Patriots who stood up to their government, Patriots who fought against their government, fought against their flag, and fought against their rules. I am not sure that you understand the difference between a Patriot and a Nationalist Fool. Standing up against the traitor-in-chief may make me a "Liberal" to you, but in the eyes of the world, it makes me a Patriot.

The term "Liberal" is a badge of honor. It indicates a person with an open mind, willing to see things for all sides, and a person looking to the future instead of longing for the past. So when you use that term and intend it to be a derogatory insult, please realize that you are actually praising someone. Should you want to demean someone with a political phrase, try calling them a conservative. No more ugly term could be used without profanity. It is synonymous with corruption, greed, hatred, intolerance, and ignorance. After all, what are the "conservatives" in this country trying to conserve? Certainly not money because they spend it and give it away as fast as they can print it. Not the ecology as they have taken away every environmental protection ever written. Not human life, as they are trying to do away with Healthcare Insurance for tens of millions of people. Peace? Yeah, good luck with trying to make that stick. Just can't for the life of me figure out exactly what they are trying to conserve.

Back to the topic.......I like Patriots for Duncan High. Just like the NFL, the Patriots are hated by every other team because of all of the cheating and underhanded dealings. Of course, the winning while doing it makes it even worse. So, yeah, Patriots would fit the bill.

LOL. Please understand that I am kidding and just trying to get folks to post. As Slick said, I am a sh*t stirrer. I am otherwise harmless. Only one person with one person's opinions, and one person's vote. My main objective here is just to get the closed minded and the narrow minded, to at least try to understand that there is always more than one way to skin a cat, and more than one right way to see things. Everyone does not have the same central point of view. Nor the same moral view. And although they may differ, they are all right in their own way and their own mind. Knowing that, there is no need to try to diminish someone else because they are different. But hey, If I say that it is 12:00, I will get crucified because I didn't say it was noon or midnight. I accept that fact. But I was taught a long time ago, that a person can only learn with their mind open and their mouth shut. I read these posts a lot. A whole lot. I have a pretty good read on people before I respond to their posts. And 99% of the time when I do that, I am trying to get them to at least be exposed to a differing viewpoint. So far, very few have caught on, and even less have taken the opportunity to listen. It is a fun experiment, and I wish to thank everyone for playing.

But when it comes to High School Football, everyone here has their own biases, and see things through their own colored glasses. I admire the loyalties of those like BEF. I also love to see the Gaffney guys hating on their coaches. Everyone has a good time with it, and that is why we are all here. Not to be political or religious bullies. We all choose to live our lives they way that we like. Just because someone is different, does not make them any less of a football fan, or a good person. Jesting back and forth is great fun, until it gets personal. And some folks here are stuck with the idea that if someone (ME) sees things different than they do, then that is a personal attack. Perhaps it is the questions that I pose. Some people are uncomfortable asking themselves some of those questions, and even more uncomfortable with the answers. But again, I digress. We are all High School Football fans here, and we should all respect each other as such and set aside any political, religious, or any other differences that we may have. You know me well enough to know that I show respect to all that show respect to me. And you also know that I do not get into other people's lives or families. To each, their own. Hopefully you and your family are safe from this Virus, stay that way, and that we get to enjoy some football as soon as it is practical to have games.

Slick, you are 100% right. More folks reading about a controversial topic than reading about the great old days and some of the great teams and games from an era long ago. But folks thrive on controversy, especially if I am involved. Any time that some of them can gang up on me and make themselves feel special, they take it. So, don't blame them, blame me. You know that I am always the one to blame for everything. But keep going with your thread. I will keep reading it, and posting where appropriate. I really enjoy that stuff.
