Hands down, the toughest to predict because of so many possibilities. I could see:
Byrnes 5 - 1
Gaffney 5 - 1
Dorman 5 - 1

Re: REGION TWO CHAMP WILL BE....
After week 1 of region play Spartanburg, Gaffney, Byrnes, and Mauldin are all 1-0. Byrnes and Spartanburg play this week so that will knock one team down to 1 loss. Dorman, Riverside, Wade Hampton, and Boiling Springs are all 0-1. Region play this week has
Wade Hampton @ Gaffney
Spartanburg @ Byrnes
Boiling Springs @ Riverside
Dorman @ Mauldin
Now the way I see these games playing out is Gaffney Byrnes BSHS and Dorman winning. This would put Gaffney and Byrnes 2-0 in the region. Dorman 2-1in region play thanks 74 for bringing me up to date on that since Maulding and Dorman played week 0 Spartanburg Mauldin and BSHS at 1-1 and wade hampton at 0-3, I know this is my predictions for the week and it really is crazy but this looks to be the year that Region 2 could be as competitive as years past when it used to be the "super" conference in the upstate and the whole state for that matter.
Now that 74 has me straightened out on a game that i missed. Seems to me Wade Hampton has been elimintated from contention of region champioship and the playoffs unless a miracle happens. I say that Riverside will be eliminated from contention after this week as well cause I believe they are 0-2 as well and could get only get 1 win in region play when they play Wade Hampton later in the year

You forgot that Dorman and Wade Hampton played week 0... not sure what happened to make it week 0, but they moved it for some reason...racincowboy02 wrote:After week 1 of region play Spartanburg, Gaffney, Byrnes, and Mauldin are all 1-0. They don't play again, I checked earlier this year.
My guess is that both coaches would rather have their week off later in the year, instead of early.

Oh ok well that makes since that they don't play again and take a bye later in the year. I remember that there are teams and I know Dorman did it with Spartanburg not to long ago but they meet early in the year and its non region and then meet later in the year as a region game.
Re: REGION TWO CHAMP WILL BE....
I just don't believe Dorman has what it takes to capture the region this year. Our offense is just too up and down from week to week and from quarter to quarter.
I really thought we had something on defense earlier this year but we've actually given up a lot of points so far. The defense has done what it had to do to keep us in games and give us a chance to win but in our losses we couldn't hold late in the game when it counted most.
Now, I'd just like to beat Mauldin and hope for a great atmosphere at Gibbs against the Vikes. Would be great to see that place rocking and come out with a win.
