No, cause quite frankly you have two Superintendents right now that are fighting the system!! Just my opinion and I hope I am wrong.sparked_up wrote: ↑Fri Jul 31, 2020 1:01 pmY’all must have missed the part where exceptions can be requested. 250 in most football stadiums would be 1% or less of capacity. You don’t think that exceptions won’t be given to every HS in the state? 50% would have great to see in our local stadium in the last 10 years.Damefan wrote: ↑Wed Jul 29, 2020 7:13 pmSome teams between both sides may not even be able to do that. Dutch Fork brought 100 players when they played Fort last year. That would be over 330 between the two teams if only the two family members attended. Imagine the Dorman vs Gaffney, or some of the other big rivalry games in the state just in region play. Somebody is going to be upset!! Put on your #*%N Mask!!
will fans be allowed to attend games?

A severe limit on fans in the stands better be accompanied by some state allocated money for HS sports. Many need the gate to not only pay for football, but many other sports. That is the inconvenient fact that everyone seems to be ignoring. But at the end of the day, it is probably a moot point. Jerome, and his minions can continue to put out imaginary dates, but I don't think anybody will play a.dowm this fall. Jerome's boys just don't want to make a decision on either side of the matter. They are just praying that a hugher authority will tell them to shut it down to cover their butts.

Re: will fans be allowed to attend games?
I believe the games will be played and there will be fans allowed. Schools are opening for sure, so sports will follow. I would not limit the amount of people, just make them aware of the risks and procedures. If my son/daughter was playing I would be there, with a mask on.
the crowds will be smaller because of high risk people avoiding the scene, but that's ok. Crowds around here are getting smaller anyway
a concern of mine is that we have reached the point of scaring the wits out of people, and altercations that might occur when some people perceive others as being too close to them, or not following safety procedures
then there are some that purposely do not follow procedures because of personal or political leanings. They are tired of this (the whole virus thing) and don't believe it's a danger. Problems will occur when these people encounter the ones that strictly follow the safety procedures
die hard high school fans will be in the stands for sure, but it will be a choice they make. Basically come to the game, school, Wal-Mart, Wendy's, whatever, but take the precautions that you/experts deem necessary

People will use the excuse "I am drinking my coke, eating a hamburger/hot dog, or eating peanuts" and the masks will be off once they get in the stadium!! Great for concessions!!

I usually avoid the restroom at games if possible. Last time I went at Willy B a Dillon fan (or someone on the Dillon side) took a crap in the middle of the restroom floor
