Coaches and players are protesting this. Scott Frost (Nebraska) and James Franklin (Penn State Suxx) are saying that they are seeking to set schedules for games with schools outside of the B1G. Jim Harbaugh (Michigan) is lobbying other coaches to join the protests. Perhaps this is the time and place to ditch the NCAA and it's Nazi jackboots, once and for all.

Ya know covid aside .i agree.the ncaa has been exploiting players for billions fir a while.they dint punish anyone they make money off of.if your a top 20 or so school you get a pass. If your the college of charleston you get hammered for same offense.Penguin wrote: ↑Mon Aug 10, 2020 6:31 pmCoaches and players are protesting this. Curious if these coaches remember who signs their checks, the "University Presidents"! They can say all they want what they want to do but if your schools President say you're not playing I doubt you're playing.Penguin wrote: ↑Mon Aug 10, 2020 6:31 pmCoaches and players are protesting this. Also, the universities don't want the liabilities if a player were to contract a problem after having been told the risks and allowing the players to play. I talked to my son who is a Workmans' comp attorney and he said this is a no-win situation for the universities. Why do you think the players want health coverage for 6 years beyond their playing days? What school President wants to explain to a parent "we thought we were doing the right thing letting them play"?

Damefan, I am with you 100%. The problem with this, and everything else going on in the country right now, is that we have a complete imbecile making uninformed, unintelligent, and completely misguided, proclamations to those in this country who are too lazy to learn about things for themselves. It is much easier to follow an idiot than it is to educate yourself about pertinent topics.
Who knows where any of this is headed. I would love to be able to watch football. College, HS, and Pro. I am afraid that I won't be able to until next spring at the earliest because of the selfish actions of some of those idiots.
