Coach L was in Walmart last week and showed Rhonda the pictures. Very nice looking field. Hoping that the upgrades to the PB and a new scoreboard are forthcoming. We bought a second vehicle and I was going to able to come to the games, but last Tuesday, I severely sprained the MCL on my left knee. My orthopedic surgeon told me that I have some "marbles" in the joint and that my Medial Meniscus is no longer there. Bone against bone. In a brace and was told that anywhere from 3 to 6 months later I can expect a full knee replacement. I am going to have to wait and see how things progress before I know if I will still be able to go to the games. I am hoping.........

Hey Penguin. I am so sorry to hear about your Knee. Hopefully you will be able to attend some Beaufort Games this year. Is Rhonda back working at Walmart?

GO BEAUFORT EAGLES!!!!

She is at the Lady's Island store working in loss prevention. My knee is very problematic at the current time. The swelling has gone down but it is extremely weak. Even with the brace, I am having trouble getting around. Having to learn how to do the simplest of things using my right leg for strength. My right sacrum has the pins in it and I have been putting all of the pressure on the left for about the last 10 years. My right side is very weak as well. Like having to learn how to walk all over again. The field looks amazing. Hopefully Beaufort can utilize it to our advantage. Speed will be key. I am going to do my best to make the home games, and may be more. We bought a Toyota Camry Hybrid this spring. 50+ MPG. Loving it. Rhonda was having a really good schedule, getting off by 5 or 6 every night. Then the store started staying open later and on top of that, one of her co-workers (the one that loved the closing shift) had a medical issue. Now, Rhonda is stuck with that shift and is working until 9 or 10 every night it seems. I am hoping that she will get back to the opening shifts soon, and get a chance to come see some games with me. Hope to see you soon.

Oh Ok. I am glad that she is back working at Walmart. How is she liking working at the Lady's Island store and doing loss prevention? I am sorry to hear that you are having problems with your knee. Hopefully you will start feeling better soon and be able to make the games. I agree about Beaufort's new turf field. It does look awesome!!!! I am glad that you got a Toyota Camry Hybrid and are loving it. I hope that Rhonda starts getting off work early and will be able to make some games with you. We definitely plan on being at every Beaufort Game. I think it will really be a great year for our Eagles this season. I hope to see you soon!!!! Take care.
