To be honest I am kind of excited to see what Coach Liner will do now that he is "home" and at a place where he knows what its like to play on that field in front of that passionate fan base.

Now lets talk some football and talk about the match up you guys are looking forward to this year especially since yall moved down to 4A and are in a completely new region. I think the match ups that have my interest are the Greenville vs Greenwood and the Greer vs Greenwood match up those will be very interesting match ups
We'll beat laurens. Eastside, Greer, and Greenville are all toss ups in my opinion.
Thanks for the input man i look forward to seeing what goes on this year down there in Gwood i wish that Gaffney and Greenwood could play again on a yearly basis that would be pretty cool to see again but i know that probably won't happen
Oh it will happen. These coaches that have returned with Liner were on Greenwood teams that played against y'all. So trust me they know. Just give us a couple years to get our program back up to standard. Playing y'all now wouldn't do either of us any good. Assuming you want to play a Greenwood team that will give you guys actual tough competition. We just need a little time to get that Gwood mojo back :) Shouldn't take long. By no means am I doubting my school. I just think it's a tad bit unrealistic to go from losing to woodmont, laurens, and westside to giving gaffney a competitive game in one year. We just need to focus on wining our region right now.

I want the Greenwood that was a bad ass back in the day not what they were under Pippen. Im sorry i don't mean to be so blunt and put yall down like that but the team just wasn't the Greenwood we are all used to seeing. I like the sound of a Greenwood vs Gaffney match up every year or atleast a home and home series every couple of years.

You're not wrong. Most Greenwood fans feel exactly the same.

Ok just didn't want to come across as disrespectful to a good group of fans. I know its early and we really don't know a whole lot about the kids right now but what are some names to be on the lookout for this year down there in Greenwood

Pretty well-written article, if you ask me. Hearing the guy that wrote it is pretty darn good at his job but that may have just been a rumor
Excellent article indeed. Guys name is Skylar Rolstad of the Index Journal.
