Yeah we know. We've lost to Laurens multiple times the past few years under different leadership so it's nice to start off in good spirits.

Region play will be tough. We are very undersized up front but Liner gets the most out of them. I love the fact we had over 300 yards rushing

Something that hasn't been mention is there are former Greenwood coaches from last year now coaching at Laurens so they know the Greenwood players tendencies as well as the Laurens coaches knowing the Laurens players. This should be a great first test for both teams. I do wish I wasn't reading all the excuses before the game has been played though. Another thing, leave Pippin out of the conversation he is gone. He is coaching successfully and happily somewhere else where he is appreciated. If this coach doesn't turn things around in AAAA then it is on him, a Greenwood product!!

I agree leave Pippin out of it. But where is a post where someone made excuses? People were just giving their opinions on why each team would win or lose. I'm glad I was wrong. It generally takes some time before changing over works. But what they did was already enough. What's with the attitude?

The Laurens quarterback looked good and their receivers for the most part have good hands. I also felt their offensive line was huge. I hope the Laurens quarterback is okay. Looks like he may have tweaked something in his arm late in the game.

Beating laurens by 4 tds is about as close to normal as we have been in a long time. Greenwood got after it on every play. To have them ready to play like that basically with no time to practice is an EXCELLENT COACHING JOB BY CHRIS LINER! Running backs look pretty nice. Can't wait until we get #4 back.
