Daniel vs Wren

The Lions pulled out the big win tonight over Wren 30-10. Starting QB was out due to being in quarantine but the two others we have did a solid job managing the game even though they had a pick six and 2 more INTs. The defense was outstanding allowing only 3 points against a great offensive team.

At this point, I really don't see anybody in the upstate that can stand in the way of Daniel being in Columbia.

I think this is one of the most complete teams I’ve seen since 2009. Chester and Woodruff look like some good teams but Chapman is still the king of 3A and I would love to see our guys match up with them.

Not sure what Chester has. Woodruff can't play with Daniel. Daniel would beat the brakes off of Woodruff. Chapman? Possibly. But I just don't think they are as talented as the last few years. And am sure half of the players are looking to the sideline trying to find Hodge, and he isn't there.

I just want to continue being optimistic this season. Last year I did not think there was a team in upper state or lower state 4A that could hang with us. Then the guys got complacent in the playoff run and against Ridge View they thought they could just slide by because they beat them earlier in the year.

Between Daniel, B-H-P, and Wren, somebody gets left out. And that team "could" easily win it all on a given night. I do not like these limited playoffs, but those were the cards dealt before the season started. Looks like Daniel is in the driver's seat for now.
