Knowing Porter personally, he has as good a character as anyone I know. He's a heck of a competitor. This game got chippy on both sides. I remember a season we had a kid tackle the ref. I don't fully blame the coach for it though. They're kids. They get frustrated sometimes. The focus should probably be on Liner's masterful game plan.Deputy wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 9:29 amNot surprising. That's Porters deal. Hillcrest was the same way that one year where everything fell their way on the way to state. And a huge reason why Porters can't get out of Greenville County even though he has applied for every decent job in the state over the last five years

I think the tie breaker for our region is points allowed. Maybe that's what you meant. Either way we're in regardless whether it's points allowed or points scored. To your point that 50 spot really made the difference and not letting them get more than 27.eagle93 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 9:17 amAccording to the index, Greenwood is in because of points scored being 50.Damefan wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 1:26 ameagle93 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 1:06 amThat was an exciting game and masterful game plan by Liner. He has my respect. He had these kids ready to play, and he took some chances that gave Greenwood the momentum in the game. Some great things seem to be in the future. The ball control and time management was very good. This game got chippy at different points in the game. Greenwood had to win that game and he got it done.
Congratulations on a great win. Looking forward to seeing how and if a tiebreaker will be used.

Yes. I believe that's what I was told. If Greer doesn't drop the Laurens game that leaves Greenville out. Funny season. I think all three are quality teams and are worthy of being in the playoffs.ManigoEra wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 7:27 amI think the tie breaker for our region is points allowed.
