CONGRATULATIONS AND GOOD LUCK TO ALL TEAMS

I just wanted to congratulate all of the teams who have managed to figure a way to circumvent all of the landmines that were encountered during this most trying season. Bravo to all of the young men, coaching staffs, and school administrators who found a way to make it this far on and off of the field. There are 10 games to be played tonight, and only 10 teams will score more points, but all of the teams playing are winners.

Sure, there will be plenty of tears for the Seniors who will play their final game tonight, but the satisfaction of making it this far, under these circumstances, will make for memories to last a lifetime. Every person involved with these games tonight, should hold their heads high and be proud of all of the sacrifices, hard work, and dedication, that it has taken to make it this far.

As fans, there are thousands of us who have been privileged to watch you perform week in and week out. Just know that all of your efforts have been appreciated by those of us who so desperately needed a distraction from the turmoil and upheaval going on all summer and fall. I wish everyone the best, stay safe, and perform to the best of your ability. If you do that, you will always be a winner.
