He was advertised as a high level prospect going into the 9th grade. Supposedly had high interest from Georgia and other big time schools. Was kind of curious that he went to Blue Ridge. I don't care how good a QB is, if he has small slow wide receivers, and marginal protection, he isn't going to shine. But the kid can really throw it. He should do well in Gaffney with the talent they have.
And that is my point. Maybe they just wanted somebody with head coaching experience no matter that their track record says they aren't going to win. But typical of most schools in GC, where they care little about football. And the Blue Ridge thing to do. They have made incredibly stupid hiring decisions before that nobody understood.
