2021 Season

South Carolina High School Football America has it's preseason top 300 teams in the country list out... South Carolina has 6 teams on the list- Northwestern, Hanna, Dorman, Byrnes, Gaffney, and Dutch Fork....no Fort Dorchester (clearly an omission), no Sumter, no Summerville, no Carolina Forest, no Berkeley (Slick is writing letters to HSFA as I type)....the voters must all be from the upstate- ha. Fort Dorchester should be there. Max Preps has DF at #13 in the nation... we shall see how the season plays out. I think DF only has 8 regular season games at the moment. Hope they can get a few more- Spring Valley, Blythewood, Ridge View... need to nab a few local rivals. Luckily, they were able to get Irmo back on the schedule. Have non-region games against Irmo, Wren, Spartanburg and Byrnes, along with Chapin, Lexington, River Bluff and White Knoll.

New QB prospect at DF, transfer from NC, Aliam Appler...seems to be solid. 6'5" QB from the Wilmington area I believe. Rising junior. Going to have some options at QB this season. Should be fun.
