Good team effort tonight. Was up 30-9 with 6 min left and the ball. Then got complacent. Was just trying to run out the clock and didn't keep the foot on the gas. Just trying to keep people healthy so I get it.

Appreciate it. According to Coach Liner gwd has about 135 total players that came out this year. 82 of which are in 10th grade and below. And we're still winning games. Bright future for Greenwood.

As for the Hillcrest game, we had an opportunity to KO them and didn't get it done this time. Gotta work on that but proud of the effort. Liner is doing an excellent job. Glad we have him as the coach.

Yeah yeah, we had a lot of issues with cramps during key moments in the 4th quarter. Score didn't reflect it but that game was over. Kids didn't even get to practice outside but like 2 days. Just get it done and get the win. That's what we did. Thank you coach Liner.
Qb and RBs did a great job. Defense stepped up when they needed to.

What can you Greenwood fans tell me about Hillcrest? Would love a good scouting report. My Woodruff Wolverines play them this coming Friday. We smoked badly them in 7 on 7 play this summer but I didn't get to see it. I would think we should be the favorite in this game but anything you can tell me is greatly appreciated.

Well they certainly pass the eye test. They have some very big kids especially up front. Their QB looked good at times but if y'all can get pressure on him he seems to get a little flustered. The QB is athletic enough to get away so be careful he doesn't take off on you. They like to throw to their #7 McFadden. He's pretty good. They also like to go to #5 Coldren.

Bottom line, Hillcrest is a decent team with size and a few athletic skilled position players. They outsized us but Greenwood has very strong kids and fast kids so we were able to handle them. If y'all do get up on them make sure to finish them off otherwise they might come back on you.
