We used to get together as a group, or at least part of the group, a couple of times during the season and at the State Championship games and even at the Shrine Bowl. Many were really surprised to meet the person and match it up with the screen name because they were expecting something totally different. I remember the first time I met CHIEF O and the last time I saw him, quite a change.... about 150# lighter. mikey, that fellow that rode around in submarines, was totally different than I expected. Cityslicker was ... well, unique is a good way to say it.

We also used to do the "age check" from time to time. But, I thought I would put this up to see who would play along.

Did you graduate from the school you are known for here on the site? Yes, as did my late wife, my son, my daughter and my oldest Grandson will be there in a few years.

Did you serve on Active Duty? Yes, Navy with two tours being served with the Marines.

Your turn, tell us anything else we need to know: I've met quite a few of the posters here: starting with our host, EHSMEANGREEN down in Easley, to BEAUFORTEAGLESFAN & Penguin down in Beaufort, just met Bburg_Wildcat 22 this season, there are plenty of Gaffney folks (mikey and I are always going at each other, that bubblehead), don't forget old GOBIGGREEN and a couple of other Summerville folks, and I would love to add to the list. So, if you are scheduled to be at Byrnes this season (or another game that I end up attending if not at the Rebels' game) let me know.

Yes I did graduate from Blacksburg High

I served on active duty for a little while...I was in the NG and served 12 1/2 years as a medic.

Married for 10 years and have 2 sons.

No...graduated Blacksburg 1979...bench sitter for 1976 state championship team...no rings back then..my Gaffney alliance comes from my children and now grandchildren....they attended or in the grandkids case are currently at Gaffney High...

Served active duty 5 yrs ...3 aboard the USS George Washington Carver SSBN 656...

74 is right...until u meet some of these fellow posters...u really can't appreciate the board...some really fine folks here that you would think are total dicks until u meet them...ex.Byrnes # 1....
