WEST ASHLEY AT BEAUFORT POLL 9/10/21

Beaufort's 1st game against an SC Opponent is Tomorrow Night. I can't wait!!!! I am hoping and praying that this game will take place with no Covid Issues.

I have been watching Highlights of the Goose Creek-West Ashley Game from last week. I personally think that if Beaufort plays the way that they have been playing these last 3 games, then this game will be pretty ugly, with Beaufort winning Big. I just don't see how West Ashley will win this game. Beaufort has the advantage in almost every position that I see. The only way for Beaufort to lose this game is if they have a ton of turnovers and penalties.

With that being said. Beaufort's Offense will have to have success running and throwing the Football. Beaufort QB Tyler Haley will have a monster game I predict. Hopefully Beaufort's OL will have a great game blocking for Haley and the Eagle RB'S. I look for Beaufort's WR'S to have monster games as well.

All Beaufort's Defense will have to do to slow West Ashley down is to stop the Wildcat's very good RB Jahleel Porter. Porter was fed the ball 28 times last week against Goose Creek and had 167 Yards Rushing. If Beaufort can slow Porter down then I think they win this game very easily. West Ashley's QB only was 1-10 passing with 11 yards against Goose Creek last week. So Beaufort's Defense led by one of the best DL in the State should be busy all night with West Ashley running the football. If I was Beaufort's Defensive Coaches I would blitz a lot in this game. I think Beaufort's Defense won't allow hardly any yards to the Wildcat's in this game. Beaufort's DB'S should be ready though in case West Ashley tries to fool them with a deep pass.

I thought some more posters would comment on this game. What do y'all think about it. Personally, I just don't see this game being much of a game or even close to it. Doodles has Beaufort favored by 4. But I just don't see how West Ashley has the tools to keep it that close.

Beating 3 winless Georgia teams....just not that impressed. West Ashley is no powerhouse either....need a body of work if you want a gold star, smiley face or a cookie....
