Greenwood @ North Augusta
Re: Greenwood @ North Augusta
If you had done your homework you would realize that the teams they beat while classified in AAAAAA in Georgia, are ranked #317 and 324 respectively in the state.

I remember seeing that too. There used to be more North Augusta folks here. It seems the boards are getting light.GwoodEagle2k1 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 09, 2021 10:43 pmI remember one of the NA fans said they weren't that good in the preseason but a lot can change since then. According to what some have said they've beaten who they were supposed to beat.
Re: Greenwood @ North Augusta
I posted that we don't seem to be as good as past NA teams. Our first game was against Lakeside of Evans Georgia. There was no score at half and the game was finished the next day. We won 17 to nothing but it wasn't impressive. The following week Lakeside had a lot of points scored on them in the first half of their game against Greenbrier and Greenbrier won. We played Grovetown last week and we were down 19 to 7 one play into the second half and came back to win. Grovetown lost to Thomson the previous week 40 to nothing. I listened to the Grovetown game and the Ridge View game on the radio and our announcers are saying we're missing a lot of tackles and dropping a lot of passes. I know our QB is not very mobile. He's a big tall kid but doesn't have any quickness. Personally I don't think we have a great team but I feel like we will get a lot better if we correct some of our mistakes with tackling and dropping passes. So far we've been a second half team. We need to play 4 quarters. One half of good play against Greenwood won't work. Just my opinion.

Thanks for your input sir. I haven't been down there to the school in quite some time. Well over a decade ago. I look forward to getting down there and seeing what has changed.NAmAN wrote: ↑Fri Sep 10, 2021 8:05 amI posted that we don't seem to be as good as past NA teams.
