Daniel vs Walhalla

Barring an unexpected change like last week I expect to be in Walhalla Friday. Let’s hope nothing changes.

Should just be another easy non-region win for our guys on the road. Walhalla hasn’t played a game yet this season, except for scrimmages against Eastside and Washington-Wilkes (GA).

Both teams scrimmaged Eastside and both won very easily in their respective scrimmage. Walhalla has an alright QB and okay skill players on offense. The OL will be holding on for dear life against the Daniel DL but it’s been that way with every team so far.

On defense the DL does not look very athletic but Eastside made them look good somehow. The secondary for Walhalla looked decent as far as athletes across the field but they still we’re going against Eastside so it’s still up in the air on that group.

Should be another pick the score game for Daniel. Last time we traveled to Walhalla it was close due to an injury at QB for us. Walhalla isn’t as deep this year I guess Padgett couldn’t keep recruiting guys from Daniel and Seneca to come play for him but he couldn’t win against us with them anyway.

My score prediction is 70-21

Hogwalla and the Dirty Myrtle are about as far apart on the spectrum as you can get, and just about as far geographically in the state as you can get.

Stretch if give up 21 to them I’ll be disappointed considering how well our defense has started to play the last two weeks.

This being their first game maybe a real bad mix for them.

Jaheim Lawson is doing everything he can to be defensive player of the year in this state. I suspect this will be the worst team we’ve faced so far this year .

I think walhalla at this point needs the money and as well as we travel they won’t be going the old covid cancel route.

Btw I enjoy their new stadium as well . Great backdrop.

I’m feeling generous this Monday dub. I think Padgett might sneak a late first half TD in there and then get two more in garbage time when our starters bus has already left oconee county and the backups are left to deal with the rest of the game.
