Gaffney is much better than Westside, and they scored 64 on us....

It might be a rivalry, but on offense we are ok, just down to our 5th spot on the depth chart for RB.
On defense, well if someone finds our defense could you send them to Gaffney....

Crazy but the biggest win for Byrnes would be not to have any major injuries coming out this game!
Defense you would think can't play any worse than they did Friday or the last 3 weeks !
Offense just got too many key guys out for this to be a 4 quarter game plus Gaffney defense/Coach Miller want allow anything close to 62 points!

That is a great point ,but Byrnes can't cover the passing game basics . Deep ball , screens, the hitch routes, slants.
Gaffney QB will be able to make those throws and #10 will run up and down the field all night!
Defense is maybe worst I have seen in 25 years of watching Byrnes football!

After the Mallard Creek game, you would think Gaffney would be the favorite. But in big rivalry games, sometimes you can throw the records out the window. All I know is both Byrnes and Gaffney have a fan in me...the way those two programs ( and the rest of the SC HS football community, for that matter) have supported and lifted up the DF family after the loss of Gage and Jack...outstanding programs, players, coaches, fans and communities. DF family will never forget the kindness. Thank you...
