So far this season Newberry has played 2A #1 Abbeville and 5A #6 Chapin in 3 games. They still have 3A #6 Clinton next week, then 2A #2 Gray Collegiate and 2A #3 Saluda in region play. In what is shaping up to be a 9 game season with Fairfield moving to region only, that schedule isn't fun.

Woodmont in the 5A top ten. What's going on over there?

Onion I wouldn’t get to worked up over woodmont being in the top ten. They don’t deserve to be with the pitiful schedule they’ve gone 3-0 on. It’s good for them but by years end they’ll be back to normal. They only beat south side 14-9 and beating palmetto is no special feat either.
Once region play hits then you will see normalcy return.
